Steve Harvey is a household name known for his comedic talent, hosting gigs, and philanthropic work. But did you know that he's also in the healthy drink business? Harvey launched a new drink supplement called LEvate Vitality Daily Greens, which is taking the health world by storm. In this review, we'll take a closer look at LEvate You greens, its ingredients, research, and how to get a refund if you feel you need one.
What Is LEvate Vitality Greens?
LEvate is a dietary supplement in the form of a powder that you can mix with water or your favorite beverage. It's designed to support your overall health and well-being, with a focus on boosting your energy, immunity, and mental clarity. The supplement contains natural and organic ingredients and no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives.
What Does LEvate Mean?
While the spelling is grammatically incorrect, the name is a great choice for a health drink because it gives the impression that consuming this beverage mix regularly will elevate your health to a new level.
Vitality Daily Greens Directions For Use
Mix one scoop in 10 to 12 ounces of water, and drink. You can drink Vitality Daily Greens with or without food. It does not matter if you drink it in the morning or the evening. Alternatively, mix Vitaly Daily Greens with almond milk or add it to fruits and veggies to make a smoothie.
Did Steve Harvey Create The LEvate You Vitality Greens Drink?
The website (Levateyou.com) clearly states that “Steve Harvey created L'Evate You…” While it is also stated that he decided to create the drink because he feels – rightly so- that health is the foundational ingredient to success, it's not stated how he decided upon which ingredients to include.
LEvate You Drink Long-Term Benefits
According to the Steve Harvey supplement website (LEevateYou.com), drinking LEvate You regularly will elevate your health in several ways, including supporting:
- Mitochondrial Health
- Energy and stamina
- Heart and brain health
- Digestion
- Enhanced immune system response
Does LEvate Vitality Daily Greens Have Clinical Research To Verify It Improves The Health Of People?
While there are quite a number of healthy ingredients, no clinical research could be located to support the claim that drinking LEvate You improves the health of humans. This does not mean Vitality Daily Greens does not work. Instead, it just means it looks like nobody has taken it in the lab yet to see its actual health effects.
LEvate You Vitality Daily Greens Ingredients
Like many green drinks LEvate You contains a LOT of ingredients. To help you make sense of the Supplement Facts Label, here are some key points:
- Generally, all three versions of LEvate You are low in vitamins and minerals. That's not important as this is not a vitamin drink but rather more of a whole-food beverage.
- None of the versions contains any added sugars. This is good. Americans already eat too many added sugars. Adults should aim to consume less than 50 grams of added sugars each day.
- All three versions of LEvate You drink contain between 1 and 2 grams of fiber. That's not much. Most Americans do not consume the minimum healthy amount of fiber which is about 1 oz a day. Higher fiber consumption is linked to not only better bowel habits but maybe less colon cancer too.
- All three flavors of Vitality Daily Greens are high in vitamin A, with amounts ranging from 443 mcg in the chocolate flavor and 535 mcg for both the Original and Tart Cherry flavor versions.
- Both the Tart Cherry and Original flavors contain a typo in their Supplement Facts labels. They incorrectly display vitamin A in milligrams (mg). It should read micrograms (mcg). The company needs to correct this.
- All flavors of LEvate You contain tart cherry.
- The chocolate flavor contains 280 mg of sodium. This represents 12% of the daily value for sodium. While it is not technically “high” in sodium, most Americans already consume too much of this mineral. Sodium-rich diets contribute to high blood pressure, and kidney failure. This mineral has no place in a health drink.

How Do You Purchase LEvate You Vitality Greens?
The offical website is LevateYou.com. You may also find it on websites like Amazon, eBay as well as Walmart.
Organic Wheat Grass
Wheatgrass (Triticum aestivum) has been a popular health drink for decades due to its anti-oxidant effects and also because it's thought to:
- reduce inflammation
- support healthy immunity
- maintain healthy blood sugar
- aid the digestive system
Many of these claims, however, have not been clinically studied in humans. In one study, 59 women with elevated cholesterol level were reported to have a 5.4% reduction in total cholesterol, 10% lower cholesterol, 9.5% lower triglycerides, and 4.4% reductions in bad, LDL cholesterol when they took 3.5 grams of a freeze-dried wheatgrass supplement for 10 weeks. In another clinical trial, people drinking 3.5 oz of fresh wheatgrass juice showed improvements in ulcerative colitis symptoms.
Inulin (fructo oligosaccharides)
Inulin is a type of soluble fiber. It's found in bananas, onions, chicory root, leeks, and asparagus. Like all fiber, inulin is a prebiotic, which means it feeds the healthy bacteria that reside in your digestive system, such as Bifidobacteria and Lactobacillus. Inulin is also a functional ingredient added to yogurts, cereals, and dietary supplements. The breakdown of inulin releases fructo oligosaccharides (FOS) which are long chains of fructose molecules. Like inulin, FOS are also prebiotics, helping to nourish healthy gut bacteria and promoting gut microbiome diversity.
Bacillus Subtills DE 111
Bacillus subtilis DE111 is a probiotic strain of the bacterium Bacillus subtilis. It is a spore-forming, gram-positive bacterium that is naturally found in soil and the human gut. DE111 is a patented strain of Bacillus subtilis that has been extensively studied for potential health benefits, including improved digestive health, immune function, exercise performance, and gut microbiome balance.

What Is M-Charge?
The Steve Harvey green drink contains a blend of ingredients that are collectively called M-Charge. What is that? The M refers to mitochondria. The mitochondria are tiny batteries inside your cells. These batteries produce energy in the form of ATP (adenosine triphosphate). ATP is the critical energy molecule that powers everything you do, from moving and exercising to digestion and thinking. Literally, everything is powered by the ATP molecule. Your body only has about 9 oz (250 grams) of ATP at any given moment. That is not much. This tells us that humans do not store ATP. It must be constantly manufactured.
Aging is thought to be related to defects in mitochondrial function. As we get older, our mitochondria don't work as well as they did when we were younger. This increases free radical damage, also known as oxidative stress. The idea behind M-Charge is that the ingredients in it will charge up your mitochondria, helping them to function better. This might keep you healthier and give you more energy during the day.
Exercise is one way that can not only help your mitochondria function better, it also causes them to get bigger, AND you will make more mitochondria too. Keep in mind there is no official designation as “M-Charge.” In other words, it's a marketing name rather than a science name.
Beet Root Powder
Beetroot, also known as beets, is a root vegetable high in nutrients and has a range of potential health benefits. Beets and beetroot juice have been clinically studied, and results suggest they may have a multitude of effects, including:
Increased exercise performance: Beetroot consumption may enhance exercise performance by improving muscle oxygen delivery and reducing fatigue. This is due to the nitrates in beetroot, which help improve blood flow and increase the efficiency of the mitochondria, the energy-producing parts of your cells.
Improved blood pressure: Beetroot is high in nitrates, which the body converts into nitric oxide. Nitric oxide is a vasodilator, which means it helps to relax and widen blood vessels, which can lead to a reduction in blood pressure.
Promote reduced inflammation. Various clinical trials suggest eating beets and/or drinking beetroot juice can reduce cellular inflammation. This suggests beets may be of benefit to those trying to reduce their risk of heart disease and cancer.
See the SuperBeets review for more insights.
MLG50 Fulvic Acid Powder
MLG50 is a trademarked name for a special blend of fulvic acid. Fulvic acids are a complex mixture of organic molecules that form as a result of the decomposition of plant and animal matter by microorganisms. Fulvic acids contain over 70 vitamins and minerals and peptides and phytonutrients. One of the best-known sources of fulvic acid is shilajit.

What is ElevATP?
ElevATP is found in the M-Charge Blend of LEvate You Vitality Daily Greens. ATP is our ultimate energy molecule. Everything you do needs ATP to work. When you eat food, your body turns food energy (calories) into ATP energy. ElevATP is a patented plant-based mixture derived from ancient peat and apple polyphenols. The idea is that ElevATP will elevate your ATP production and, in doing so, improve your energy and exercise performance. In one study, the ElevATP ingredient used once a day at a dosage of 150 mg appeared to increase muscle mass in young men after they performed an eight-week strength training program. However, the study's authors did not say if those men grew stronger.
Spinach & Kale
Both kale and spinach are featured prominently in all three versions of LEvate You drink mixes. There is a good reason for this. Both are nutrient-dense leafy green vegetables high in essential vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, C, vitamin K, calcium, and iron. Kale and spinach are also rich in antioxidants, such as, beta-carotene, lutein, and zeaxanthin, which help to protect cells from damage caused by free radicals. The phytonutrients lutein and zeaxanthin are particularly important for eye health because they can delay the progression of cataracts and age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
Both of these vegetables may help suppress appetite. This appears to be due to thylakoids, compounds in green plants that assist with photosynthesis. People who eat spinach and kale are also consuming a good amount of potassium, which has been shown to reduce blood pressure and maintain blood vessel health. That said, the same may not be said about LEvate You Green drinks as their amount of potassium is not listed on the supplement facts label.
Reishi Mushroom Powder
Reishi mushrooms (Ganoderma lucidum) have been studied to see if they can help optimize the immune system, support prostate gland health, maintain cognitive function, and many other things. While there have been several clinical studies in both humans, animals, and isolated cells, the results of those trials sometimes contradict each other. In other words, more research is needed to get a better handle on which health problems reishi mushrooms might help. Mushrooms contain a potential anti-aging amino acid called ergothioneine that has antioxidant properties. This special amino acid has been shown to activate Nrf2 (nuclear factor erythroid 2–related factor 2), a regulator of how well we can defend against oxidative stress.
Lions Mane Mushrooms
Lion's mane mushrooms (Hericium erinaceus) have been studied to see if they help people with Alzheimer's disease. In one investigation, people taking a high dose of 1000 mg of lion's mane for almost a year seemed to perform their daily life activities better. This result is intriguing. However, better studies need to be conducted. Some research studies on this mushroom use more Lion's Mane than is found in LEvate You Vital Greens drink mix. Lion's Mane mushrooms have some of the highest concentrations of ergothioneine, an potential longevity amino acid.

Chaga Mushroom Powder
Chaga mushroom, also known as Inonotus obliquus, is an edible fungus mushroom used for centuries in Russia and other parts of Europe. Chaga mushrooms are thought to fortify the immune system, battle cancer, improve fatigue from exercise and modulate blood sugar from getting out of hand. Much of this research, however, involves laboratory animals. Human clinical trials are needed to verify the findings.
Cordyceps Mushroom
Like most mushrooms, cordyceps is rumored to have a wide range of health effects, such as helping maintain optimal immune system functioning, reducing inflammation, and helping promote lung function. Cordyceps sinensis and militaris are two of the most studied in this family, with some research suggesting it may promote kidney health. Cordyceps has also been researched to see if it improves the ability to exercise.

PQQ
PQQ is the abbreviation for Pyrroloquinoline quinone, a molecule that resembles resveratrol and is found in foods, including fruits and vegetables such as kiwi, papaya, and spinach. PQQ plays a role in mitochondrial function and energy metabolism. In other words, it helps the mitochondria make ATP energy. This is why you see it listed among the ingredients in the M-Charge formula.

LEvate You Vitality Daily Greens vs. Athletic Greens
By far, the most popular superfood green drink sold today is Athletic Greens. How does the Steve Harvey drink compare to Athletic Greens? This would be easy to know if researchers would give each to people and see what changed after a few months. Unfortunately, there are no head-to-head comparisons of Athletic Greens and Steve Harvy's Vitality Daily Greens. While both supplements have some ingredients in common, each contains ingredients that the other does not. Here is some assistance to help you decide between them.

There's no doubt that this green drink supplement contains a diverse array of nutrients. Even without clinical proof, it's quite possible that for those who eat poorly, drinking this beverage regularly would probably be a healthy option. Steve Harvey has stated that health is the foundational ingredient of success. If this is true, then so too is spending money wisely and saving your money for the future. IF THIS IS TRUE AND CAN HELP ME AND HAVE TO STOP SO MEDS? PLEAS BE ONIST. I HOPE THIS IS JUST ANOTHER SCAM! THANK YOU
Joe Cannon says
Jeffrey, it seems from your questions that you are directing your questions to the company. This website is not the Steve Harvey Company or has any relationship with the company. I will say I don’t believe LEvate Greens will specifically help with weight loss. Weight loss is best achieved by eating a few less calories and becoming a bit more active. You said you take a lot of medications, so this is what I suggest. If you want to try LEvate Greens, show the ingredients (they are in the review) to your doctor and pharmacist and ask if any of those ingredients would interact with the medications you take. Also ask your doctor what steps you can take to help you lose weight safely. The key to real long lasting weight loss is not a supplement or a weird diet you may see on social media. Ask your doctor if there are any free programs or groups you can join that can help you to lose weight.
I hope some of this helps Jeffrey.
Abby Greenwald-Waterland says
Not sure why, but when I got my first bag of L’Evate You tart cherry powder, it came without any “scooper” to measure the amount of greens to combine with 10 to 12 oz. of water? Is one tablespoon a scoop or how what?
Joe Cannon says
Hi Abby, a serving of Levate You is 7 grams, according to its supplement facts label. A teaspoon of powder is about 5 grams so it’s a wee bit more than a teaspoon. I believe if you call the company, they can tell you if Elevate you comes with a scoop. This review isn’t associated with the steve harvey company but I did list the customer service information above so if you scroll up you can find it and reach out to the company. I hope this helps Abby and please let me know what they say.
Melody Schneider says

Hi Melody, sorry for the confusion! The offical webiste is Levateyou.com. You can also find it at Walmart and it may be on Amazon too

Hi Natasha, if you scroll up in the review to the how to get a refund section, I listed the email address of the company. They can stop auto-shipments if you no longer want to receive them.
