Updated July 2026. Beverly Hills MD Dermal Repair Complex is an anti-aging supplement promoted for wrinkles, sagging skin, crepey skin, skin elasticity, and stronger-looking hair and nails. The formula contains collagen, hyaluronic acid, MSM, saw palmetto, wild yam, silica, vitamin A, and several B vitamins. Some of those ingredients have human research behind them. However, that does not automatically prove Dermal Repair Complex works. The complete supplement does not appear to have been tested in a published clinical trial, and six of its most important ingredients are hidden inside a 620 mg proprietary blend.
In this Beverly Hills MD Dermal Repair Complex review, I will compare the formula with the amounts used in human studies, examine its claims, discuss possible side effects, and help you decide whether it is worth the money.
Quick Answer: Does Beverly Hills MD Dermal Repair Complex Really Work?
Beverly Hills MD Dermal Repair Complex may help improve skin hydration, fine wrinkles, or elasticity in some people because it contains collagen, hyaluronic acid, and MSM. Human studies support these ingredients individually, but the complete Dermal Repair Complex formula does not appear to have been tested in a published clinical trial.
Another concern is dosage. Collagen, MSM, hyaluronic acid, saw palmetto, wild yam, and silica are combined in a proprietary blend totaling only 620 mg. Beverly Hills MD does not disclose how much of each ingredient the supplement contains, so it is impossible to know whether the doses match those used in successful studies.
My opinion is that Dermal Repair Complex contains some promising ingredients, but the evidence does not prove it will significantly reduce wrinkles, tighten sagging skin, or improve crepey skin. Any benefits are more likely to be modest than dramatic.

What Is Beverly Hills MD Dermal Repair Complex?
Beverly Hills MD Dermal Repair Complex is an oral anti-aging supplement marketed to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, crepey skin, sagging skin, and other visible signs of aging. It is also promoted for improving skin hydration and elasticity and supporting healthier-looking hair and nails.
Unlike a cream or serum applied directly to the skin, Dermal Repair Complex is taken by mouth. The formula contains hydrolyzed collagen, MSM, hyaluronic acid, saw palmetto, wild yam, silica, vitamin A, and several B vitamins.
Beverly Hills MD says the supplement works from the inside by supporting collagen, skin moisture, and hormone-related changes associated with aging. However, the complete Dermal Repair Complex formula does not appear to have been tested in a published clinical trial. The evidence comes mainly from studies of individual ingredients, often at doses that may differ from those in this supplement.
Who Makes Beverly Hills MD Dermal Repair Complex?
Dermal Repair Complex is made by Beverly Hills MD, an anti-aging skincare and supplement company founded in 2014 by plastic surgeons Dr. John Layke and Dr. Payman Danielpour.
While their medical backgrounds add credibility to the company, that does not prove Dermal Repair Complex works. The supplement still needs to be judged by the research on its formula, ingredients, and dosages.

Beverly Hills MD Dermal Repair Complex Ingredients
The current Beverly Hills MD website lists the following Supplement Facts for two capsules:
| Ingredient | Current official label |
|---|---|
| Vitamin A | 300 mcg RAE, 33% DV |
| Thiamin | 10 mg, 833% DV |
| Riboflavin | 10 mg, 769% DV |
| Niacin as niacinamide | 50 mg, 313% DV |
| Vitamin B6 | 10 mg, 588% DV |
| Folate | 1,333 mcg DFE, including 800 mcg folic acid |
| Biotin | 2,500 mcg, 8,333% DV |
| Pantothenic acid | 20 mg, 400% DV |
| Dermal Repair Complex Blend | 620 mg |
| Other ingredients | Rice bran and hypromellose capsule |
The 620 mg blend contains:
- Hydrolyzed collagen
- Saw palmetto fruit powder
- MSM
- Wild yam root extract
- Hyaluronic acid
- Silica
The other ingredients are rice bran and hypromellose, which is used to make the capsule
The Biggest Problem With Dermal Repair Complex: Undisclosed Ingredient Doses
The biggest weakness of Beverly Hills MD Dermal Repair Complex is its 620 mg proprietary blend. The label lists six ingredients but does not reveal how much of each one the supplement provides:
- Hydrolyzed collagen
- Saw palmetto
- MSM
- Wild yam
- Hyaluronic acid
- Silica
This makes it difficult to compare Dermal Repair Complex with the doses used in human studies.
For example, the entire blend weighs only 620 mg. Therefore:
- The collagen dose must be less than 620 mg.
- The MSM dose must be less than 620 mg.
- The formula cannot provide the 1,000 to 3,000 mg of MSM tested in a published human skin-aging study
- We cannot tell whether it supplies approximately 120 mg of hyaluronic acid, an amount used in several successful trials.
- We cannot determine whether any ingredient is present at a clinically useful dose.
Ingredients are generally listed from greatest to smallest amount. Since hydrolyzed collagen appears first, it should make up more of the blend than the ingredients listed after it. However, collagen still shares the 620 mg total with five other ingredients.
This does not prove Dermal Repair Complex cannot work. It means the Supplement Facts label does not provide enough information to determine whether its doses match those used in clinical research.
Is Beverly Hills MD Dermal Repair Complex Clinically Proven?
No. I could not locate a published, peer-reviewed clinical trial testing the complete Beverly Hills MD Dermal Repair Complex formula against a placebo.
This does not mean the supplement cannot work. It means the finished product has not been clinically proven to reduce wrinkles, tighten sagging skin, improve crepey skin, or produce the other results described in its advertising.
Some Dermal Repair Complex ingredients have been studied separately. Human trials have reported benefits from oral collagen, hyaluronic acid, and MSM. However, those studies often used specific ingredients and doses that may differ from the amounts in Dermal Repair Complex.
While this is good, Research on individual ingredients does not prove that a finished supplement works.
To clinically prove Dermal Repair Complex works, researchers would need to give the actual supplement to one group of people, give a placebo to another group, and compare changes in wrinkles, hydration, elasticity, skin firmness, or sagging under controlled conditions.
Until that type of study is published, the evidence for Dermal Repair Complex comes mainly from:
- Studies of individual ingredients
- Research using different dosages
- Studies of branded or standardized ingredients not identified on the label
- Customer reviews and before-and-after pictures
- The company’s explanation of how the ingredients may work
Let’s look at the ingredients that matter most.
Hydrolyzed Collagen
Hydrolyzed collagen is collagen that has been broken into smaller peptides to make it easier to digest and absorb. Collagen is an important structural protein in the skin and helps support firmness and elasticity.
Human research suggests oral collagen supplements may modestly improve skin hydration, elasticity, and wrinkles. A 2023 meta-analysis of 26 randomized controlled trials involving 1,721 participants found that hydrolyzed collagen improved skin hydration and elasticity compared with a placebo. However, the researchers also found considerable differences among the studies and noted that study quality and funding may have influenced some results.
In one randomized, placebo-controlled trial, women who took 1,650 mg of collagen peptides daily for 12 weeks showed improvements in skin hydration, elasticity, and wrinkles.
Another randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial involved 64 adults who took 1,000 mg of low-molecular-weight fish collagen peptides or a placebo daily for 12 weeks. The collagen group showed greater improvements in skin hydration, several wrinkle measurements, and some measurements of skin elasticity.
How Does the Dermal Repair Complex Collagen Dose Compare?
Beverly Hills MD does not disclose how much hydrolyzed collagen Dermal Repair Complex contains. We only know that collagen is the first ingredient in a proprietary blend totaling 620 mg.
Because the blend also contains saw palmetto, MSM, wild yam, hyaluronic acid, and silica, the collagen dose must be less than 620 mg per two-capsule serving.
That is lower than the amounts used in the two clinical trials discussed above:
- One study used 1,000 mg of low-molecular-weight fish collagen peptides per day.
- Another study used 1,650 mg of collagen peptides per day.
This does not prove that less than 620 mg of collagen cannot work. Different collagen peptides may produce effects at different doses. However, Beverly Hills MD does not identify the source, molecular weight, peptide composition, or exact amount of collagen in Dermal Repair Complex.
Therefore, there is no way to know whether its collagen matches the ingredients or doses used in successful clinical trials.
Collagen Evidence Verdict
Evidence for collagen supplements: Reasonable
Evidence for the amount in Dermal Repair Complex: Uncertain
Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic acid is a substance naturally found in the skin, joints, and other connective tissues. It attracts and holds water, which helps the skin stay hydrated and may make fine lines appear less noticeable.
Most people associate hyaluronic acid with moisturizers and injectable fillers. However, several randomized, placebo-controlled studies have also tested oral hyaluronic acid supplements.
In a 2015 study, 61 adults with dry skin took either 120 mg of hyaluronic acid or a placebo each day for six weeks. The hyaluronic acid groups experienced greater improvements in skin moisture than the placebo group.
A 2017 study involved 60 adults with crow’s-feet wrinkles. Participants took 120 mg of hyaluronic acid or a placebo daily for 12 weeks. One hyaluronic acid group had significantly reduced wrinkles after eight weeks, and both groups showed improvements in several wrinkle measurements.
In another randomized, placebo-controlled trial published in 2021, 40 adults took 120 mg of hyaluronic acid or a placebo daily for 12 weeks. Compared with placebo, the hyaluronic acid group showed improvements in wrinkles, skin moisture, elasticity, and transepidermal water loss.
These studies suggest that oral hyaluronic acid may modestly improve skin hydration, elasticity, and certain wrinkle measurements. However, the trials were relatively small, and some of the researchers were employed by the company associated with the hyaluronic acid ingredient.
Does Dermal Repair Complex Provide Enough Hyaluronic Acid?
We do not know.
Hyaluronic acid appears near the bottom of the six-ingredient proprietary blend. It is possible for the formula to contain 120 mg, but the label does not prove it does.
Hyaluronic Acid Evidence Verdict
Evidence for oral hyaluronic acid: Promising
Evidence for the Dermal Repair Complex dose: Unknown
MSM
MSM, short for methylsulfonylmethane, is a sulfur-containing compound commonly found in joint, exercise recovery, and beauty supplements. Sulfur is involved in connective-tissue proteins, but that alone does not prove MSM supplements reduce wrinkles or tighten skin.
The most relevant human study I located was titled Beauty from within: Oral administration of a sulfur-containing supplement methylsulfonylmethane improves signs of skin ageing.
The study had two parts. In the first part, 20 women took either 3,000 mg of MSM or a placebo daily for 16 weeks. Compared with placebo, MSM reduced facial wrinkles and skin roughness.
In the second part, 63 women took either 1,000 mg or 3,000 mg of MSM daily for 16 weeks. Both doses improved some measurements of wrinkles, skin firmness, elasticity, and hydration. The researchers concluded that 1,000 mg per day appeared sufficient to reduce certain signs of facial aging.
How Does the Dermal Repair Complex MSM Dose Compare?
Beverly Hills MD does not disclose how much MSM Dermal Repair Complex contains.
This does not prove that a lower MSM dose cannot work. But the results of the published study cannot be directly applied to Dermal Repair Complex.
MSM Evidence Verdict
Evidence that MSM may improve certain signs of skin aging: Limited but promising
Evidence that Dermal Repair Complex provides a clinically tested MSM dose: Weak
Saw Palmetto
Saw palmetto is best known as an ingredient in prostate and hair-loss supplements. It contains fatty acids and plant sterols that may affect 5-alpha-reductase, an enzyme involved in converting testosterone into dihydrotestosterone, better known as DHT.
DHT plays an established role in androgenetic alopecia, also called male or female pattern hair loss. This gives saw palmetto a plausible reason for appearing in supplements marketed for thinning hair.
In one 16-week randomized, placebo-controlled study, 80 men and women with mild-to-moderate androgenetic alopecia received either 400 mg of a standardized saw palmetto oil, a topical saw palmetto treatment, or the corresponding placebo. The oral supplement reduced hair fall, modestly increased hair density, and lowered blood DHT levels compared with placebo. However, the study tested a standardized saw palmetto oil containing 2% to 3% beta-sitosterol, not ordinary saw palmetto fruit powder.
Does Saw Palmetto Improve Wrinkles or Sagging Skin?
Beverly Hills MD says saw palmetto helps reduce the visible effects of “skin-destroying DHT” and supports youthful skin elasticity.
I could not locate a published human clinical trial showing that oral saw palmetto reduces wrinkles, improves skin firmness, increases elasticity, or tightens sagging skin.
Although androgens affect the skin, that does not prove that lowering DHT will reverse visible skin aging. In fact, age-related changes in skin hormones are complicated, and lower androgen activity is not automatically beneficial for aging skin.
Therefore, the evidence for saw palmetto in Dermal Repair Complex relates mainly to possible hair benefits, not proven anti-wrinkle or skin-tightening effects.
How Does the Dermal Repair Complex Saw Palmetto Dose Compare?
Beverly Hills MD lists saw palmetto fruit powder as the second ingredient in its 620 mg proprietary blend but does not disclose the amount.
The company also does not state that the saw palmetto is standardized for fatty acids, beta-sitosterol, or any other active compound.
Saw Palmetto Evidence Verdict
Evidence that standardized saw palmetto may help androgen-related hair loss: Limited but promising
Evidence that saw palmetto reduces wrinkles or sagging skin: Insufficient
Evidence that Dermal Repair Complex provides a clinically tested saw palmetto dose: Unknown
Wild Yam Root Extract
Wild yam contains diosgenin, a plant compound that can be used in a laboratory to manufacture steroid hormones.
That does not mean the human body converts wild yam into DHEA, estrogen, or progesterone when its taken as a supplement. Claims that wild yam naturally “balances” female hormones should be treated cautiously.
The label also does not identify:
- The amount of wild yam
- The concentration of the extract
- The amount of diosgenin
- The specific skin benefit expected from the dose
Wild yam may sound appropriate in a formula marketed toward age-related hormonal changes, but direct proof that oral wild yam improves wrinkles, skin firmness, or sagging is appears to be lacking.
Wild Yam Evidence Verdict
Evidence for skin aging: Insufficient
Silica
Silica provides silicon, a trace element present in connective tissues, hair, skin, and nails.
Some small studies have investigated specific forms of silicon for hair, nail, and skin properties. However, the Dermal Repair Complex label does not identify the form or amount of silica, making a meaningful research comparison difficult.
Silica Evidence Verdict
Evidence for skin, hair, and nails: Preliminary
Evidence for this formula: Unknown
What About the Vitamins?
Dermal Repair Complex contains vitamin A and a large assortment of B vitamins. Most provide several times the Daily Value.
Unless someone has a deficiency or an really poor diet, large amounts of B vitamins do not automatically produce younger-looking skin.
Biotin
Biotin is widely promoted for hair and nails, but biotin deficiency is uncommon.
The supplement provides 2,500 mcg, which is 8,333% of the Daily Value. Some older research reported improvements in brittle nails with 2.5 mg, the same as 2,500 mcg, but the evidence was limited and did not establish that biotin improves normal nails or reverses skin aging in people who are not deficient.
High-dose biotin can also interfere with certain medical tests, including some tests for thyroid hormones, vitamin D, and troponin. Incorrect troponin results are especially important because troponin testing may be used when a heart attack is suspected.
Tell your doctor and laboratory personnel that you take biotin before undergoing bloodwork.
Niacinamide
The Dermal Repair Complex provides 50 mg of niacin as niacinamide, also called nicotinamide. Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3 and is different from nicotinic acid, the form of niacin best known for causing skin flushing.
Nicotinic acid can cause warmth, redness, itching, and tingling at supplemental doses of about 30 to 50 mg or more. Niacinamide does not usually cause this flushing reaction because it has a different chemical structure.
Does Niacinamide Help Aging Skin?
Topical niacinamide has good evidence for improving certain signs of aging skin.
In one randomized, double-blind study, 50 women applied a moisturizer containing 5% niacinamide to one side of the face and a control moisturizer to the other side for 12 weeks. The niacinamide treatment improved fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmented spots, skin texture, red blotchiness, yellowing, and elasticity compared with the control.
Another randomized study involved 30 women who applied a cosmetic containing 4% niacinamide around one eye and a control product around the other eye for eight weeks. The niacinamide product produced greater improvements in wrinkle grades and skin-surface roughness.
However, these studies tested niacinamide applied directly to the skin. They do not prove that taking 50 mg of oral niacinamide reduces wrinkles, improves elasticity, or tightens sagging skin.
Oral niacinamide has been studied for other skin-related purposes. For example, 500 mg twice daily reduced new nonmelanoma skin cancers in high-risk adults during a 12-month clinical trial. That is a different use and a much larger dose than the 50 mg in Dermal Repair Complex. It did not establish an anti-wrinkle benefit.
How Does the Dermal Repair Complex Niacinamide Dose Compare?
Dermal Repair Complex provides 50 mg of niacinamide daily.
However, I could not locate a published clinical trial showing that 50 mg of oral niacinamide improves wrinkles, sagging skin, crepey skin, hydration, or skin elasticity.
Niacinamide Evidence Verdict
Evidence that topical niacinamide improves certain signs of aging skin: Good
Evidence that 50 mg of oral niacinamide reduces wrinkles or sagging skin: Insufficient
Likelihood of causing a niacin flush: Low
Vitamin B6
Dermal Repair Complex provides 10 mg of vitamin B6.
This is below the current U.S. adult upper limit of 100 mg per day. However, the European Food Safety Authority established a lower adult upper limit of 12 mg per day in 2023 because long-term excessive vitamin B6 can damage nerves. Someone taking this supplement plus a multivitamin, B-complex, energy product, or fortified drink could easily consume more.
Folate
The formula supplies 1,333 mcg DFE, including 800 mcg of folic acid.
The adult upper limit for folic acid from supplements and fortified foods is 1,000 mcg per day. Therefore, Dermal Repair Complex alone provides 80% of that limit before counting a multivitamin or fortified foods.
This is another reason to check your other supplements rather than stacking several products containing high-dose B vitamins.
Does Dermal Repair Complex Help Wrinkles?
It might help some people with fine wrinkles, particularly if it supplies a useful amount of hyaluronic acid or collagen.
However, the evidence does not show that Dermal Repair Complex:
- Erases deep wrinkles
- Produces a facelift-like effect
- Significantly lifts jowls
- Tightens loose skin throughout the body
- Reverses severe crepey skin
- Replaces sunscreen, retinoids, moisturizers, or medical treatments
Most oral collagen and hyaluronic acid studies report modest changes measured with specialized instruments. That is not the same as dramatic before-and-after photographs.
People with fine lines, dryness, or mild changes in elasticity would be more likely to notice a difference than people with deep wrinkles or considerable skin sagging.
Does It Help Crepey or Sagging Skin?
The company specifically markets the supplement for thin, crepey, and sag-prone skin.
Some collagen, hyaluronic acid, and MSM studies suggest possible benefits for hydration and elasticity. However, I could not locate a clinical trial showing that the complete Dermal Repair Complex formula visibly lifts sagging neck skin, jowls, arms, legs, or the abdomen.
Hydration can temporarily make dry, crepey skin look smoother. That is different from rebuilding enough connective tissue to tighten substantially loose skin.
Does Dermal Repair Complex Help Hair and Nails?
Biotin, collagen, saw palmetto, and silica are all found in hair or nail supplements.
Dermal Repair Complex might help someone whose brittle nails or hair problems are related to poor nutrition or a deficiency. However:
- Biotin deficiency is rare.
- Saw palmetto hair research is limited.
- The collagen and silica amounts are not disclosed.
- Hair shedding can have many causes, including thyroid problems, iron deficiency, medication, illness, weight loss, stress, and hormonal changes.
Persistent hair loss should be evaluated rather than automatically treated with a beauty supplement.
How Long Does Dermal Repair Complex Take to Work?
The company says many customers notice a visible difference within approximately one month but also states that consistent use produces the best results.
Based on studies of collagen, hyaluronic acid, and MSM, a more reasonable evaluation period would be eight to 12 weeks.
Take clear photographs before starting:
- Use the same room and lighting.
- Stand in the same position.
- Use the same camera.
- Do not change filters or beauty settings.
- Photograph the areas that concern you.
- Avoid introducing several new skin products at the same time.
Otherwise, it becomes difficult to know whether any apparent change is real or what caused it.
Dermal Repair Complex Before-and-After Pictures
Before-and-after photographs can be useful, but they are also easy to influence.
Differences in lighting, makeup, facial expression, camera distance, hydration, posture, and image processing can make wrinkles and sagging look better or worse.
Pay closest attention to pictures that:
- Show an older adult with visible wrinkles before treatment
- Use identical lighting and camera angles
- Include a specific treatment period
- Disclose other skincare treatments
- Do not come from a seller or affiliate
- Show unedited, high-resolution images
Testimonials from younger people with few visible wrinkles tell us little about whether the supplement helps advanced skin aging.
Beverly Hills MD Dermal Repair Complex Side Effects
Dermal Repair Complex may be tolerated by many healthy adults, but “natural” does not mean side-effect-free.
Possible issues include:
- Upset stomach
- Nausea
- Bloating
- Headache
- Skin rash or allergic reaction
- Bright-yellow urine from riboflavin
- Laboratory-test interference from biotin
- Unnecessary duplication of B vitamins from other supplements
The current formula uses niacinamide, so a strong niacin flush is less likely than it would be with nicotinic acid.
Who Should Speak to a Doctor First?
Check with your physician or pharmacist before taking Dermal Repair Complex if you:
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Have a hormone-sensitive medical condition
- Take hormone replacement therapy
- Take blood-thinning or antiplatelet medication
- Have liver or kidney disease
- Have an upcoming operation
- Take several other vitamin supplements
- Are being evaluated for thyroid, heart, or hormone problems
- Have a history of prostate or hormone-sensitive cancer
The product itself has not been shown to cause these conditions. The caution is based on its ingredients, possible drug interactions, and the lack of a clinical safety trial on the complete formula.
Can Men Take Dermal Repair Complex?
The company markets the product primarily to women, but most of its nutritional ingredients would not be expected to work only in women.
Men should still review the saw palmetto, folic acid, biotin, and vitamin B6 content with their doctors when appropriate, especially if they have prostate disease, take medications, or regularly undergo laboratory testing.
It should not be assumed that saw palmetto in this proprietary blend will treat an enlarged prostate or hair loss. Its amount is not disclosed, and the product is not intended to treat either condition.
Is Dermal Repair Complex Vegan?
No. Hydrolyzed collagen is animal-derived unless a product specifically states otherwise.
The official page does not clearly identify the collagen source. People with fish, shellfish, beef, pork, or other animal allergies should ask Beverly Hills MD to identify the source before ordering.
How Do You Take It?
The suggested dosage is two capsules with eight ounces of water once daily with a meal.
Taking it with food may reduce digestive discomfort. Do not assume taking more will work faster.
How Much Does Dermal Repair Complex Cost?
Prices change with promotions, bundles, subscriptions, and account status. The official site has recently shown one-time pricing beginning around $39.95 per bottle, with lower per-bottle prices for larger orders.
Each bottle contains 60 capsules and lasts 30 days when used as directed.
Check the final checkout page carefully. A discounted subscription is not the same as a one-time purchase.
Important Subscription Details
Beverly Hills MD offers automatic deliveries. Under the current Dermal Repair Complex subscription terms, customers may be billed and sent another order approximately every 30 days until they cancel.
The listed monthly subscription prices are:
- One jar: $35.95
- Two jars: $68.40
- Three jars: $91.80
The company says subscriptions can be canceled without an early cancellation fee by contacting customer service.
Do not choose the subscription merely because the initial price looks lower. Choose it only if you knowingly want recurring charges and shipments.
Dermal Repair Complex Money-Back Guarantee
Supplements purchased from the Beverly Hills MD website have a 90-day return period beginning on the date the order ships, not the date it arrives.
You must:
- Contact the company or submit its return form.
- Obtain return authorization and instructions.
- Return the bottles, including empty bottles.
- Pay the return-shipping cost.
The refund does not include shipping charges. Products bought from third-party sellers are subject to the seller’s return policy rather than Beverly Hills MD’s guarantee.
Keep every bottle until you decide whether you are satisfied.

Is Dermal Repair Complex a Scam?
I would not call it a scam.
The company discloses the ingredients, dosage, subscription terms, and return policy. Several ingredients have legitimate scientific interest.
However, legitimate ingredients do not prove that every marketing claim is accurate. The lack of disclosed doses and absence of a clinical trial on the complete formula make it impossible to confirm that Dermal Repair Complex produces the lifting, firming, and wrinkle-reducing results suggested by its advertising.
A more accurate description would be an unproven formula containing some researched ingredients.
Is Dermal Repair Complex Worth It?
Dermal Repair Complex may be worth considering if:
- You prefer capsules over collagen powder.
- You understand that results may be modest.
- You want to try it for eight to 12 weeks.
- You are comfortable with the undisclosed blend.
- You will use the return policy if it does not help.
- Your doctor has no concerns about the ingredients.
It may not be worth it if:
- You expect dramatic lifting or wrinkle removal.
- You already take a high-dose B-complex supplement.
- You frequently undergo biotin-sensitive blood tests.
- You dislike automatic subscriptions.
- You want a product whose complete formula has been clinically tested.
What Would Make the Formula Better?
Beverly Hills MD could make Dermal Repair Complex easier to evaluate by:
- Disclosing the amount of every ingredient.
- Conducting a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial on the finished product.
The company’s founders are plastic surgeons and should have access to the expertise needed to conduct a meaningful clinical trial.
Does Beverly Hills MD Dermal Repair Complex Really Work?
Dermal Repair Complex contains several ingredients that could plausibly support skin hydration, fine wrinkles, hair, or nails. Hyaluronic acid has the most convincing possibility of working at a dose that could fit inside the formula. Collagen and MSM also have human research, but the amounts in this supplement appear lower than many clinically tested doses.
I would expect any benefits to be subtle and more likely to involve hydration, skin texture, or fine lines than dramatic lifting of jowls, loose skin, or deep wrinkles.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Dermal Repair Complex remove wrinkles?
There is no published clinical trial proving the complete supplement removes wrinkles. Some of its ingredients may modestly improve fine wrinkles or hydration, but deep wrinkles are unlikely to disappear.
Does Dermal Repair Complex tighten loose skin?
The company promotes firmer and lifted-looking skin, but no clinical trial on the complete formula proves that it tightens substantially loose skin or jowls.
Can Dermal Repair Complex help crepey skin?
Improved hydration may make dry, crepey skin appear smoother. Evidence that the supplement rebuilds enough skin structure to reverse significant crepey skin is lacking.
How soon will I see Dermal Repair Complex results?
Allow approximately eight to 12 weeks before judging the product. Compare standardized photographs rather than relying on memory.
Does Dermal Repair Complex contain hormones?
The label does not list estrogen, progesterone, DHEA, or other hormones. Wild yam does not automatically become human hormones after it is swallowed.
Can Dermal Repair Complex cause weight gain?
None of the disclosed ingredients has been proven to cause meaningful weight gain when taken at the label dosage. Sudden weight changes should be investigated rather than automatically blamed on the supplement.
Does it contain fish or shellfish?
The current official product page does not clearly identify the animal source of its hydrolyzed collagen. People with serious allergies should obtain written confirmation from Beverly Hills MD before using it.
Is Dermal Repair Complex FDA approved?
No dietary supplement of this type is FDA approved for effectiveness before it is sold. That does not by itself mean the product is unsafe or fraudulent. It means the manufacturer, rather than the FDA, is responsible for ensuring that the supplement is properly labeled and legally marketed.
Can I buy Dermal Repair Complex on Amazon?
It may be available from third-party marketplaces. However, Beverly Hills MD’s 90-day guarantee applies to purchases made through its own website. Check the seller, expiration information, seal, storage conditions, and return policy before purchasing elsewhere.
My Final Verdict
Dermal Repair Complex is based on an interesting idea, and I would not dismiss every ingredient in it. Oral collagen, MSM, and hyaluronic acid deserve more attention. Beverly Hills MD Dermal Repair Complex contains several ingredients that may help the skin. Human studies suggest that collagen, hyaluronic acid, and MSM can improve skin hydration, fine wrinkles, or elasticity in some people.
The problem is that Beverly Hills MD does not reveal how much of each ingredient the supplement contains. Collagen, saw palmetto, MSM, wild yam, hyaluronic acid, and silica are all combined in a proprietary blend totaling only 620 mg.
That makes the formula difficult to judge.
Dermal Repair Complex may provide modest benefits for skin moisture, texture, or fine lines, but there is no good evidence that it will dramatically tighten loose skin, lift jowls, or erase deep wrinkles.
My opinion is that the supplement is possible but unproven. I would prefer a product that clearly lists the amount of collagen, MSM, and hyaluronic acid it provides.
