Does Pink Magic boost testosterone levels? That's the question I was asked. So does it? In this review, you'll learn about the ingredients in this dietary supplement and the research.
Pink Magic Ingredients
Pink Magic is composed of the following main ingredients
- Massularia Acuminate (stem)
- Nelumbo Nucifera (seeds and leaves)
- Rhamnus Nakaharai (stem)
Pink Magic also contains some gelatin, cellulose and magnesium but these are not the main ingredients and won’t do anything of substance so I won’t cover them.
Let’s look at the proof for each of the main ingredients separately
Massularia Acuminate
In 2008 a study was published in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology noting that Massularia Acuminate raised testosterone in rats after 21 days of feeding. This appears to be the only published peer-reviewed study Massularia Acuminate currently available. Humans are not rats so there is no guarantee that Massularia Acuminate would raise testosterone in people. Still, this is most likely the reason that Massularia Acuminate is in Pink Magic.
The amount of Massularia Acuminate given to the rats to raise testosterone was 250, 500 and 1000 mg per kilogram of body weight. This is VERY important to remember if you experiment with Pink Magic. The Pink Magic website does not tell you how much Massularia Acuminate the product has.
Rather you get a “proprietary blend” of 1600 mg per 2 capsules. How much of that 1600 mg is Massularia Acuminate? I recommend calling USPlabs (the maker of Pink Magic) and asking this question.
See the Massularia acuminate review for more about this herbal supplement.
Nelumbo Nucifera
This herb (also called Lotus flower – and many other names), is likely found in Pink Magic because of a study published in 2010 noting that it might reduce fat accumulation in mice. In this study, mice were fed a high-fat diet to make them overweight. Rats that received Nelumbo Nucifera had lower body weights.
This study specifically used extracts from the leaf of the plant. Pink Magic uses both leaf and seeds. Whether extracts from the seeds of Nelumbo Nucifera help lower body weight is unknown. I could not find any studies that this ingredient raises testosterone.
Rhamnus Nakaharai
This herb seems to have some antioxidant properties and that is good but I could not locate any research that raises testosterone levels.
Teenagers And Testosterone
I know a lot of teenagers may be reading these words and I want you to know that an exercise physiologist, I am 100% convinced that you DO NOT need testosterone booster supplements. If you are in your teens right now, your testosterone levels are the envy of every bodybuilder over the age of 30 on the planet! They all wish they had testosterone levels as high as you have right now!
Also, more testosterone is not better.
Testosterone is one of the signals that stop the growth of epiphysial plates (growth plates) of bones from further development. This may lead to premature stopping of bone growth – this makes you shorter! Could this happen with Pink Magic? I doubt it but I have no proof one way or another. Pink Magic has never been – and for ethical reasons likely never will be – tested in teenagers. Therefore nobody knows what it will do inside your body.
I've looked at several testosterone boosters and “Low T” supplements so see these reviews for additional information:
As an aside, I know many people also take glutamine supplements. Before you buy glutamine supplements, read my glutamine supplement review so you know the facts.
Also, remember that testosterone looks very much like estrogen. Is it possible that testosterone boosting supplements raise estrogen levels?
Yes, this is possible. For example, research shows andro raises estrogen levels in men – even when they lift weights.
Who Makes Pink Magic?
The company is called USP Labs. According to their Better Business Bureau file, they are located at10761 King William Dr.
Dallas, TX 75220-2445. Performing an online search for this address reveals a large building with several loading docks. Other facilities also list this as their address also.
USP Labs makes several other dietary supplements as well such as Jack3D and Oxy Elite Pro. For those doing their own research, I will direct you to these links for further reading
USP also stands for the United States Pharmacopeia, a well respected independent lab whose seal of approval is on some dietary supplements. USP Labs has no association with USP.
Pink Magic Side Effects
Without clinical evidence, it is difficult to say. Here is a shortlist of things to keep in mind if taking this or other testosterone enhancer supplements. This list is not complete:
- Stop taking at least 2 weeks before having surgery.
- Testosterone booster supplements are not intended for women who are pregnant/breastfeeding.
- Speak to your doctor and pharmacist if you take any medications or have health problems.
Does Pink Magic Work?
Until there is published peer-reviewed research on Pink Magic, it is hard to say if raises testosterone in people or not. That being said at least one study (in rats) shows that one of its ingredients may do this if enough of it is used. Remember that none of the ingredients in Pink Magic have been shown to increase muscle hypertrophy or strength (in people –or animals). But, Pink Magic is being marketed for this very reason! As I see it, this is a big problem with Pink Magic.
To my knowledge, none of the ingredients in Pink Magic have been studied in People. One of the problems with rat studies is that people aren’t rats. Also the effects of large amounts of the ingredients in Pink Magic have not been studied in rats for more than a few weeks. If Pink Magic does raise testosterone levels, it may be due entirely because of its ingredient, Massularia Acuminat, but that’s hard to say for sure, because of the lack of research. We have to take the manufactures word that the product really works.
So, Will Pink Magic work? This is what I suggest. If you really want to know if Pink Magic works, go to your doctor and have your testosterone (and estrogen!) level checked now, before you use Pink Magic. Then, have it checked again next month. A month should be enough time to see if it’s working. It's worth noting that since this review was written, Pink Magic has been discontinued.
What do you think?

I have taken both the Pink Magic and Prime products separately. The first that I tried was Pink Magic and it freaked me out. I was 5’11/ 155 lbs. I was lifting for football season and I lost about 5 lbs with in about 2-3 days, however I continued to take it in hopes and a day or 2 later I saw and increase of 3 lbs. From that point on, all i remembered was the original 5 lbs that I lost was all fat. Then the gains from then on were all muscle.
On my 3rd week of Pink Magic my lifts had across the board increased by about 15-20 lbs. Once I finished the cycle (about a month) of Pink magic I weighed in at 165 lbs. Now I did not have my testosterone levels taken at all, but I know for a fact this product did something to make me cut 5 lbs of fat and then at 10 lbs (technically 15) of cut muscle from my starting weight.
One thing that also made me believe that Pink Magic had increased my testosterone levels was that I experienced irritability. Almost like roid rage but to a much smaller extent. I also obtained a 6-pack of abs through this cycle. I only recommend this product if you workout a minimum of 5 days out of 7 a week. But over all I loved it. Felt as if I was cheating!
Now onto Prime, I took it with high expectation since having enjoyed Pink Magic and I really didn’t notice anything different at all compared to if i just would’ve worked out regularly. However, I have had friends who have taken Prime and have had great results. I think it depends on how your body reacts to it.

Every time my son takes it, he becomes HIGHLY agitated and aggressive. I know he’s not the only one with these side effects and I’m going to investigate this further. I’m sick of this kind of stuff being sold to people. It’s irresponsible.
Max says
Not so much srength but it is hard to deny how much more my veins pop and muscles honestly appear “harder”.
Fel says
I think it works ok…I did get a slight increase in strength and I felt less muscle fatigue. I did not notice the increase in muscle for myself, but my colleagues at work did notice that I filled into my shirts more. to be more exact, they mentioned that my back looked wider and my chest look bigger.
So in conclusion, I think pink magic does not work for everyone but it did for me. We just have to keep on experimenting on supplements that work best for the individual.

I used Pink Magic for 12 weeks, and not only did I not see any improvement, but just the opposite. I felt lazy, unmotivated in the gym, and lost definition. Also the side effects they warn about, were also opposite. I wasn’t irritable, I was careless, and the acne I did have….cleared up.
Total waste of money. My friend took it for 12 weeks as well, and noticed no change, good or bad.

I’ve been using Pink Magic for a few weeks now. Im a truck driver so I cant go to the gym 3 to 5 days a week like normal 9-5 workers can. So I try and hit the gym every weekend when Im back home. I’m using Animal Rage along with PM. So for I seem to have really intense work outs and Im lifting more weight then usual. I’ve gained more weight to. I’m now around 200 lbs. Before I was sitting at 189… I seem to be more happy and my arms are starting to get some forum to them. I dont have biceps like Jay Cutler by any means but like I said I dont hit the gym every day either. That and I dont diet properly or eat right which sort of defeats the purpose… But over all I like Pink Magic and will continue to use it.

I’ve been using a Pink Magic and Prime Stack for about a month now and I really don’t fell any different. My workout results have not increased in a crazy manner, just a steady increase as it always has been.
Jim says
I have read that even if the product procuces testostrerone, the body controls the level of testosterone and will decrease its output, negating the increase. Also andros have some similar effects on the male anatomy and its functioning.

I have used Pink Magic for a month now and to be honest, I feel great. I was 168 pounds when I started this cycle now I am 180 pounds. My bench went up, I got stronger, I feel more energetic, and my veins are coming out more than usual. I guess it’s just adaptation to how your body takes it in and how it uses it. If you are going to take this I suggest you drink a good amount of water and take fish oil pills. I stack this with Pink Magic, and MyoFusion. Really good combo.

So it’s like this.
I love pink magic, and prime. I take them both at the same time.
A friend of mine who is 26 and honestly has low T takes this. He is also on RX testosterone from his doctor. I have never done any kind of testosterone of any kind or used any other like products.
I honestly feel better when I’m on pink and prime; like a more nourished feeling. So I think they work and I take them.
SO…. I took the blood test challenge.
Also, during the time period of the tests, my training increased during the time of the test.
I’m running ultra distance 40 miles- 120miles per week and cross fit 3-4x per week (as much as I can take). I am a 29yo male/157 avg lbs/ 5’7”.
My test before 623 the magic…….. 6 weeks later ……….. 627!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My testosterone didn’t change at all.
Pink magic and prime didn’t boost my testosterone. However … I still take them and I really think I feel better on them (it might just be in my head) I don’t know but I still think they do something (I just hope it’s not give me cancer).
Also my testosterone was already very very high (which explains my type A personality) and my doctor said that was unusually high for my age. I honestly think running high miles supercharges your body. So maybe pink and prime didn’t work for me because my testosterone was alright height. Like I said I still like it and took it today (but it doesn’t do anything for your testosterone.)

There should also be nothing linked to steroids. That’s all Fina & such Products. Your talking about seed extracts and plants.(Natural Boosters)
Austin says
Tony, I’m 15 and smart enough to know if it was on the shelf’s for as long as it has been & illegal someone would be sued or out of a job. But to answer your question, No it’s not illegal. And even if it was & you got in some kind of bind with it, all you would have to do is bring up that you were using it, blood test would show the ingredients in it matches what is in your blood.
Tony says
Ok here is the big question, does anyone know if there is anything illegal with taking this stuff ( Any trace of Steriods in it). Pink Majic ? And are natural test boosters, can they be concidered as steriods?
Yolanda Bowles says
Okay, I did a little experiment on myself and the effects of Pink Magic. I know this was risky considering they say “women shouldn’t use this at all” but I did and really there wasn’t any change as far as hormonal imbalance. I also have to put into factor that I had a super cervical hysterectomy so that might have something to do with it. The only thing I did notice was that my muscles were harder and one of my clients told me I looked bulky.
My lifts were a lot stronger not like a mans but definitely impressive compare to most women. I was agitated every now and then but other than nothing like steroids would probably have done to me. So there was a lot of hype and nothing really to be “warned” about. I think if I stayed on it longer I probably would have saw more but since I followed the direction on the bottle all went well. I did receive some strange looks from the representatives at GNC because a woman has never asked for testosterone boosters. Once I told them I was a power lifter all was well and they were more than willing to show me the high level of stuff to take….go figure and combinations to heighten it. I closely monitored my reactions and even took it with Choatic Labs -Rage which is a preworkout drink and it just made things better.
Would I recommend it for other women to do it..I don’t know. I would tell them to monitor any side effects. Such moodiness, change in menstrual cycle which I no longer have, hair growth (I normally wear my hair short and it was growing like wild fire) more so than normal, facial hair, genital changes (only if taking it too long). I have been meaning to write this and I am now taking another one. I did cycle off Magic for awhile and found that Viridex XT is more potent than Pink Magic and those minimal side effects are coming into play. I am more agitated and the facial hair and body hair is more pronounced. So if any woman is curious this is something to consider before doing any test boosters. Some of it works and some of it are duds.

Yolanda thanks for taking the time to share the results of your Pink Magic experiment 🙂

John, interesting. Did you happen to have your testosterone level checked before and after using Pink Magic?
John Liramt says
I bought some at the store about 3 weeks ago and so far my experience has bin amazing. Vascularity, bigger pumps, and more energy. I plan on using MP battle fuel next.

At 52, I am on a proven test booster. I tried this Pink Magic, and it did NOT boost my test. It did affect me psychologically, and give me a bad attitude. I did notice that if I took it before I went trail running, I did much better.
There is something to it, but the downsides of the psychotropic affects had me stop using it.

I using this crap supplement and I never use these things I knew they didn’t work just very expensive urine
LHolliman says
I tried a supply of Pink Magic, I cannot recall any significant increase in strength or muscle growth during the regiment. I do understand that each person physiology is different, and responds to supplement different, but one should get at least a minimum result with whatever one is using.
