Colloidal silver is promoted online as a natural antibiotic miracle immune booster capable of helping everything from sinusitis to HIV, cancer and even coronavirus (Covid 19). But does it really work or is it a big fat scam? Does silver have any side effects? Who should NEVER take silver internally? Does it really turn your skin blue? Fortunately, there is research on silver and reports what happened to people who have used this homeopathic remedy so in this video review you'll learn about that. No spin. No testimonials. If you know the research and side effects you'll know if colloidal silver is right for you.

What Do I Recommend
If your looking for dietary supplements with the human proof for helping the immune system, take a look at these:
They won't protect against coronavirus (no supplement will) but they do have human clinical research showing they can help bolster the immune system and may also reduce sick days too.

So Does Colloidal Silver Work?
When evaluating if silver-based homeopathic products are right for you, ask yourself if there are human clinical studies to back up the claims. In this review, I showed you the evidence for colloidal silver is not ready for prime time. The risk of side effects such as permanently changing skin color blue gray should make you think twice before experimenting.

Judy says
I did check the box but don’t recall seeing a confirmation email. Maybe I should try another email address?
Joe Cannon says

Judy says
I use a first aid gel topically called Sovereign Silver and no skin discoloration. Their website is SovereignSilver.com
Joe Cannon says

Thank you for your logical approach to providing this information. Do you have an opinion on the difference between Angstrom vs Colloidal?
Joe Cannon says
Debi, Angstrom is a unit of measurement used in science. It’s very small. I have to say its a great name for a supplement. I take it the idea behind the name is the particles are very small and able to be better absorbed. I think Angstrom silver is just a brand of colloidal silver.

This is what I have been taking Silver Biotics. What do you think? looks like there is data and research but I am not qualified to understand it Let me know THanks https://silverbiotics.com/faq/
Joe Cannon says
Hi BJ, I looked them up. One thing I like about the company is they do discuss the bluish/gray side effect (argyria) the call it “blue man syndrome.” On their site, they report research by the EPA and other studies about how silver “1oz of 10ppm of silver in the water on a daily basis poses no significant degree of risk. While thats nice, they did not link to the EPA report so I could see it. They also report on other peer-reviewed research too but again don’t link to those studies. I would just like to see them for myself.
On their research page (located at the bottom of their site), they have pdf downloads of various research reports. From what I could tell most of the PDF documents dont seem to be peer-reviewed. Most pertain to silvers’ effects on burns and wounds. I didnt see anything on how silver impacted the immune system.
one of the studies – https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25137296/?from_single_result=accessing+orally+bioavailable+commercial+silver+nanoparticle – notes how silver did not seem to interfere with drug the drug metabolism enzyme P450. This investigation involved 12 people
In another study – https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23811290/?from_term=in+vivio+human+time+exposure+silver – no problems were noted when 60 people were given silver (10 ppm and 32ppm) or a placebo for 2 weeks. They did say the excluded people who had allergies to heavy metals (wise to do).
These were the only clinical studies I saw. The rest, I could not tell if they were peer-reviewed or not. Most of what I saw pertained to silver helping wounds and burns. I did not see anything on silver helping the immune system.
I hope that helps BJ!

Government troll…..they pay your grants etc….this has been around since Adam and Eve. Go stick your head in a toilet. Used it for years….cures everything…..not blue yet. All my labs are great and within range. Making it at home by idiots is giving it a bad name. Family/pets/children all well. Never take pharmacy poison Rxs.
Joe Cannon says
Bb, wow don’t sugar coat it – tell me how you really feel 🙂 Seriously though,I looked for proof that colloidal silver prevents disease in humans. I didnt find any. I can assure you nobody in the government or anywhere else paid me to do the video. I admit I did not look for research on colloidal silver and pets but with people, I really didn’t see anything. If you know of human clinical research on silver, I would appreciate you sharing it. I will definitely look at it.
Roseann says
What do you think it helps you with, Bb? And why or how?
And why do you call Joe a government troll just because he gave an unbiased review of colloidal silver?
I honestly want to know the answers to my questions.
Thank you.
